Gerald has spent his entire life around firearms and has been a firearms owner all of his adult life and is an NRA Patriot Life Member. He is a retired U.S. Navy Submarine Reactor Operator who qualified on the pistol, rifle and shotgun while serving aboard five nuclear powered submarines in the Atlantic Fleet. After leaving the navy and moving to New Mexico he became a Firearms Instructor in 2006 followed by Training Counselor and Concealed Handgun instructor in 2008. He is a Front Sight Distinguished Graduate in pistol, rifle and shotgun and has served as an instructor at the Front Sight Firearms Training Institute.
